AIMPromote.com - CRM application overview
I am "CA" Atreya (PMP, MBA), the author of this blog. I help businesses in Atlantic Canada achieve their BHAG successfully. You may subscribe to this blog using a feed reader (RSS).
If I were to ask you your business goal, what would your answer be? I suppose, your answer would depend on your function: Sales would say, “To sell”; Marketing would say, “To promote and generate awareness”; Production would say, “To be efficient”; etc, etc. But there is one goal common to every department: To generate revenue.
And what’s the first step in revenue generation? Having a service or a product did you say? Ok. What’s the next step? Of course, it’s sales. And in order to sell, you need leads. As any marketing and sales person can attest, lead management is one of the most crucial processes in achieving your business goals. Screw-up on lead management and you lose revenue. AIMpromote.com is one such web-based application that focuses on lead management.
As any marketing or sales manager will attest, CRM (what is CRM?) is generally a pain to implement in-house. And they will also attest, that neglecting leads is one of the main sources of lost revenue that can be controlled in-house. One feature that struck me the most was AIMpromote.com’s Lead Attention Meter. It helps prevent lead neglect - a fantastic feature if you cycle through hundreds of leads a day.
Another feature worth noting is the ability to display just the information you need on each lead without having to open the lead and related activity history itself. I find it particularly useful when you are cold-calling and need just the basic information to break the ice. One great related feature is the ability to display an analytic column: key word or phrase used to land on your site. If I am contacted by an individual, I would love to know who the referrer was. If a search engine was used, I would definitely want to know the key phrase used: helps me determine ROI more accurately.
With all the data being stored on-line, data security and integrity is paramount. They are HIPAA and GLBA compliant. They use AES Encryption for data transfer. As with any efficiency tool, you need to know how much you are making or saving using the tool. AIMpromote.com tracks campaign performance, return on investment (ROI), return on advertising spent (ROAS), Gross and Net profit, identifying and removing duplicate leads, logs and much more. All reports are generated real time to facilitate real time decision making at your end.
AIMpromote.com has bells and whistles you would expect from a CRM software. It helps you manage your leads to close. Other features include marketing automation, calendar, newsletters, mass email, lead distribution and integrates website tracking. Very few businesses track website visitors regularly. If you do not track your website metrics how will you know if spending money on your website is worth it.
All these value added services, including email & telephone (very very important) for as little as a dollar a day. Sounds too good to be true, eh? Check out their pricing page where they also compare themselves to their closet competitors. All in all, based on what I read on their website and other sites, I think you ought to check them out. They also have a 14 day trial period where they do not charge you.
The only thing, I did not fancy is that they take the credit card information when registering for the free trial. I personally do not like this policy from any website and discontinued the registration. But I got a call the same day from their rep and I took them up on their demo offer. If their support team is on the ball as the sales team, you will be in good hands. I’ll probably write a follow-up post once I have had a look at their application.
