Is less more or is more less?

I am "CA" Atreya (PMP, MBA), the author of this blog. I help businesses in Atlantic Canada achieve their BHAG successfully. You may subscribe to this blog using a feed reader (RSS).

How many of you know More Merchant.com? Their motto is save more money and make more money. So, back to my question - do you know this blog? If not, then this blog helps you make and save money. The guy behind the blog is Jake Rinard. Jake’s been making money on the Internet since 1997. He shares his money making tips at Moremerchant.com. But, I must admit I was intrigued.

This is the first time, in the last few months since I started blogging, that I have written a sponsored review about a blog. My first thought was - why would a blogger sign up for a paid marketing campaign? I found my answer in his blog (where else, eh?). So basically Jake’s doing a bit of experimenting. He’s comparing a ReviewMe hypothesis: Are 20 cheap reviews better or 1 expensive ad.

But a little more about Jake. We already know that he makes money on the Internet. He is also a financial adviser and has a day job as a Corporate Business Manager. So we can reasonably be assured that his writing is backed by experience. You can’t be too careful now-a-days. The Internet is also populated by those individuals who have no idea what they are talking about but pretend to be an expert.

So back to our earlier question. What’s the best way you think for marketing ads at ReviewMe: large number of cheap ads or small number of expensive ads? This line of thinking can be extrapolated outside of the ReviewMe domain. Think about your ads and your strategy. What are you doing? Jake is measuring his responses and tracking metrics (I am sure). As Jake would say, “Save more money and Make more money.” Are you?

Note: This is a sponsored post. As always, do your due diligence before entering into any transaction. I am not responsible for your loses, if any.
