Blogging at thoughts.com

Just when you thought we were saturated with the online community tools comes thoughts.com - a free online blog. They have positioned themselves to be a blogging platform that enables you to share videos, photos, music files and podcasts. They also have a user rating system that enables you to rate other bloggers. So if you want to blog in a social setting, blog at thoughts.com.

I must say I was quite impressed with some of the post quality by bloggers out there. The category with the largest number of posts was - Love, what else? And that was followed by life, death, thoughts, dating and divorce. Overall there were some neat thoughts posted and some equally neat responses. They seem to be spam free and I think it may be because of their recency. However, the links to the FAQ and Advertise go nowhere. It’s not a big thing, but it does show inattention to detail.

If you want to get a free trip to Las Vegas in November 2007, here is your chance. At the date of this writing, they are offering a free trip to Las Vegas. The staff at Thoughts.com will be on the lookout for the most active members who bring life into thoughts.com. They will select five people to for their annual vacation gateway and that includes: roundtrip airfare for two in continental US; 3 nights stay at a 4 star Las Vegas resort; dinner for 3 nights and complimentary show 2 nights.

So have fun blogging at thoughts.com.
