Freight shopping made easy

A number of years ago, we wanted to ship our booth to a tradeshow. I remember our admin staff trying to locate a trucking company that would ship the stuff at price point we could afford. It took them a while to get to a trucking company who would ship by the date we wanted, at a price we were comfortable with. It’s a pity we do not have (or do not know of) a website similar to Freight Companies here in Canada.

The website makes life easy for any shipper - for both personal or commercial shipments. American Freight Companies owns the Freight Center website. They have negotiated discounts with USA’s largest trucking & freight companies. Additionally, they have done the same with hundreds of local, regional and independent freight carriers.

You can get a free online quote with no strings attached. They search their database based on the pickup and destination zip codes and offer you freight rates instantly with no obligation. There are also no restrictions on size, location or destinations. This service is only offered within United States. All carriers in their database are insured, bonded, licensed and approved by the Department of Transportation.

Here is their directory of freight services and here is the link to their quotes page. Since they claim to have negotiated with the freight companies, they may pass on the discounts to you. What do you have to lose?
