Insurance leads
Having worked as a life insurance sales agent once upon a time, I know how difficult it is to get quality life insurance leads. This is specially hard for an agent if you have to generate your own leads. Let’s face it. How many people think of buying insurance when you cold-call on them?
Insurance selling is tough - especially life insurance. However, it can be a tad easier when you have quality life insurance leads to target. For example, if you know a prospect had requested for an insurance quote you know this is a hot lead. But generating leads is not your job. Your job is to sell. What if someone give you those leads - leads that have a high probability of closing? That is what quoteauction.com claims to do for you.
How it works
Prospects, as in the example above, complete detailed information online when they are shopping for insurance. Their system identifies active insurance agents in the prospect’s territory and sends the leads to the agent within minutes. Their system looks geared to provide the agent with high quality leads. They claim to offer: “consistent volume, competitive pricing, sophisticated, user friendly interface, 24/7 access to leads history, extensive reporting and even instant credit requests.”
They also claim to employ a rigorous quality control process to screen out bad phone numbers and emails. Their process also includes calling prospects (automated) and sending emails to verify the prospects interest.
Where do you signup
They currently have a promotion going on - $200 worth of free leads. Not sure how many leads that would constitute. All first time registrants receive them. Their representative will provide you with projected volume, pricing, available leads in specific insurance lines by geographic area. Once you have received your free leads and spoken to their rep, you have a choice: to proceed or discontinue.
From what I can see, you do not have to provide any billing information until you are ready to proceed. I think, that’s a fair incentive to try it out. You can limit the leads you receive by your budget, or number by day, by week, by month. You can even put your leads on hold if you choose not to deactivate your account.
Insurance Lines
They currently offer leads in the following insurance lines: automobile, homeowner’s, renter’s, health, life, disability, long term care, burial, annuity, business benefits, business P/C and mortgage protection.

Why is this article talking about lead generation in Atlantic Canada? The leads source referred to in this article provides insurance leads for the USA ONLY!!!
I know this because I clicked on the link provided, phoned the service up and asked them. They do not provide any leads for Canada.
This article should be removed as it is misleading!
Thanks for your comment Trevor. I would like to gently point out the article does not say nor imply that the posts relates only to Atlantic Canada.
The best reasons for buying insurance leads are you can be connected to individuals who are looking for insurance. This is a huge opportunity for you to capitalize on. Generating insurance leads through internet is also a good option but these need a very good website with rich content. The old methods like telemarketing can also considered but it depend upon your skill with dealing people. It is always better buy insurance leads specific to your target market or the geographical area which you are looking for. Online insurance leads can get you leads which may be 1 hour old, this gives you good opportunity.
A rather informative entry you have here. I didn’t even know there’s such thing as insurance leads. I didn’t know they exist until now. LoL. Anyway, I learned something new today. Thanks.
